New Appointments to the Building and Construction Authority Board

The Ministry of National Development (MND) has re-appointed incumbent Chairman Mr Lim Sim Seng (林森成), Senior Advisor, DBS Bank Ltd (with effect 1 April 2023), and Deputy Chairman, Er. Prof. Tan Thiam Soon (陈添顺), Institute Professor, Singapore Institute of Technology, to the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) Board. Seven other board members are also reappointed, while three members are stepping down. The Board is welcoming five new members who bring with them expertise and experience from the private sectors.

The new Board will continue to play an instrumental role in guiding BCA’s policies and strategies to transform the Built Environment sector and shape a safe and liveable built environment for Singapore. All appointments are for a two-year term, with effect from 1 April 2023. The full list of BCA Board members can be found in the Annex.
