Green Credential for Green Mark Project

Showcasing green credentials in Green Mark (GM) projects allows building owners to amplify organisation's corporate responsibilities commitment toward the built environment and gives recognition to the developer's achievement in the design and operation of a sustainable property.

There are 2 ways for showcasing the green credentials:

  1. Displaying the Physical Green Mark Decal or Green Mark Plaque in the buildings
  2. Publicising digitally via website or company’s social media account

a) Displaying Green Mark Decal or Green Mark Plaque in the buildings

When can Green Mark Plaque and Decal be displayed?

The project completed and attained Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP)

Green Mark certification awarded to existing building and user centric schemes

Upon receiving the Letter of Green Mark Award with showflats' design and location confirmed


Where shall the Green Mark Decal or Plaque be displayed?

The Green Mark Plaque and Decal shall be affixed or installed at a prominent location outside or inside the building, such as at the lobby, reception etc., throughout the validity of the certification. A new display credential showing the new inscription should be displayed when the project is recertified.

How to produce the Green Mark Decal or Plaque?

The Green Mark Plaque and Decal can be produced by adhering to the specification.

The Decal, a transparent 'sticker' (approximately 300mm dia.), is suitable for affixing onto plain surface or glass.

The Green Mark Plaque is a custom-made tempered glass (approximately 300mm dia.) made from recycled glass. The Plaque comes with 3 brackets for mounting.

b) Publicising digitally via website or company’s social media account

 

When can the developer/building owner publicise the Green Mark Credentials digitally?

Upon receiving the Letter of Award for Green Mark Certification, the developer or building owner can publicise the achievement of attaining Green Mark Certification digitally via website or social media account.

How can the developer/building owner publicise the Green Mark Credentials digitally?

Building Owner/Developer can publish the achievement of attaining Green Mark Certification digitally via website or social media account. The content shall include but not limited to:

i) Building name     
ii) GM certification rating   
iii) year of attaining the certification   
iv) green features of the building     
v) hashtag of #BCAGreenMark

ZEB PLUS is a 2-storey office space located at the Zero Energy Building (Blk A) within the BCA Braddell Campus. The office space also functions as a test-bed facility (Living Lab) for new and innovative green building technologies. The green features in the building include power-over-ethernet (POE) based intelligent lighting system, lighting control with daylight harnessing, smart and intelligent metering & sensor network system, elevated air movement with increased set-point temperature, radiant cooling system, high performance glazing with solar films and occupancy positioning system.
