Eligibility criteria for aspiring scholars
BCA seeks high-calibre individuals for its scholarship programme. They should demonstrate academic excellence, strong leadership qualities, and a genuine interest in contributing to the public service and the Built Environment sector. Meeting these criteria is essential for consideration:
Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Resident
Outstanding GCE ‘O’ & ‘A’ Level/NUS High/International Baccalaureate (IB)/Diploma Results
Outstanding University results (for current undergraduates)
Good track record of co-curricular activities
Strong leadership qualities and interest in a public service career
Supported courses and universities
The BCA Scholarship supports studies at reputable local and overseas universities. This is to encourage academic pursuits in disciplines critical to the advancement of Singapore's built environment. We welcome applicants interested in a range of specialized courses.
BCA Local full-time and mid-term undergraduate scholarship:
Tenable for studies in NUS, NTU, SIT, SUTD, and SMU.
BCA Overseas undergraduate scholarship:
Tenable for studies in reputable overseas universities (e.g., in the UK and the US).
Applicants with a confirmed university place are preferred, but you may also apply for the scholarship concurrently with your university applications.

Value of the BCA Scholarship
The BCA Scholarship offers comprehensive financial and developmental support, so scholars can focus on their studies and professional growth without financial burden. The BCA Scholarship financial support includes:
All tuition fees and compulsory fees
Monthly maintenance allowance
Other allowances, for example pre-studies allowance
Sponsorship for student summer/winter exchange programme
Return economy airfare (for overseas studies)
Internship attachment with BCA
Mentor/Buddy scheme to support your studies and career plans
Scholarship bond duration
The BCA Scholarship comes with a service bond, reflecting the commitment between BCA and its scholars to contribute to Singapore's Built Environment sector. The duration of the bond varies based on the scholarship type.
Local undergraduate / mid-term scholarship: 4 years
Overseas undergraduate scholarship: 6 years
