Q1 : Where can I find more information on the Tender for the Land Sale at Kranji Close and how can I obtain them.

A : Interested Tenderers can download the Tender Packet via GeBIZ to find out more information on the Tender. The Tender Packet contains information that prospective tenderers would need to be aware of when submitting tenders for the land parcel. The information includes, Conditions of Tender, Technical Conditions of Tender, and other relevant documents and information on the sale site.

Q2 : Can the Tender Deposit be paid through a Cashier Order, Cheque, or Bankers Guarantee?

A : The Tender Deposit must be in the form of a Tender Deposit Guarantee issued by a participating financial institution under the eGuarantee@Gov programme. For more  information on the template and regarding applications for such a guarantee from a participating financial institutions, please visit www.eguarantee.gov.sg.

Q3 : What criteria will be used to evaluate and select dormitory operators?

A : The tenders received will be evaluated based on the tendered sale price submitted.

Q4: What is the Extension Premium Scheme for government sale sites?

A: Under the Extension Premium Scheme which takes effect from 1 May 2000, the land sales conditions for new Government sale sites will no longer carry a liquidated damages (LD) clause for late completion of the project.

Instead, developers who need more time to complete their development will need to apply to the respective Government land sales agent to extend the project completion period (PCP). Any extension given will be subject to payment of an extension premium based on the following schedule of rates:
