Firms registered under the Contractors Registration System (CRS), Facilities Management (FM) Registry, and Suppliers (SY) Registry are eligible to participate in public sector construction tenders.
Firms are eligible to tender for projects within the tendering limits that correspond to the firm's registration grade and workhead classification under each registry system.
Understanding registration-based tendering limits
Each workhead type has its own grading structure with corresponding tendering limits that reflect firms' capabilities and financial standing.
The grading system ensures that projects are allocated to firms with appropriate level of technical expertise, relevant track records, and financial resources. Firms in higher grades can tender for larger value projects, but they are required to meet more stringent registration criteria.
