Recognising that research and innovation are key ingredients of a resilient and future-ready Built Environment (BE) sector in Singapore, the Cities of Tomorrow (CoT) R&D Programme has been driving innovation from robotics in construction to energy-efficient tropical buildings.

Grant Call 10 will be our final grant call under RIE 2025! We are seeking solutions under Vertical 4 on Greater Sustainability research thrust, focusing on three project topics:

  1. A SCoRE (Societal Comprehensive Reflective Estimate) Methodology (CityScan Phase 2)

  2. Lift Noise Mitigation in Residential Developments

  3. Development and Validation of Performance Based Natural Ventilation Design for both Ventilation and Thermal Comfort for Buildings
