Integrated Legal Requisition System (InteReq)

Subscribers may use the InteReq services to obtain the following information in respect of a property in Singapore, subject to the information being available to BCA and the Explanatory Notes for Legal Requisition Reply.

  • Status of the latest Certificate of Statutory Completion (CSC), Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP), or Building Plan Approval for the Property, including the main building and any additions or alterations forming part of the Property.

  • Whether an Order that is still in force has been served in respect of the Property under Section 19, Section 24, Section 24A or Section 25 of the Building Control Act.

  • Whether there are any expenses owed to the Commissioner of Building Control in respect of the Property under Section 19, Section 24, Section 24A or Section 25 of the Building Control Act.

  • Whether a Notice that is still in force has been served in respect of the Property under Section 6 of the Building Maintenance and Strata Management Act or Section 25E of the Building Control Act.

  • Whether a Direction that is still in force has been served in respect of the Property under Section 7 of the Building Maintenance and Strata Management Act or Section 25G of the Building Control Act.

Information needed for InteReq application

Please ensure that the legal requisition application (through InteReq,) contains the following:

  • Property type and description

  • Complete address of the Property, or the specific land lot number if the complete address is not available

Upon provision of a complete application, relevant information about the Property will be provided to lawyers authorised by the Property owners to perform the legal requisition.

Application Fee

The fee is $37 (inclusive of GST) per Property (i.e. one address), or per specific land lot number where a complete address is unavailable.

Please note that the application fee is non-refundable once submitted.
