Enforcement Actions

1.            As the regulator of Singapore’s Built Environment (BE) sector, BCA is committed to ensuring high safety standards by putting in place an enforcement regime that fosters high standards of professional conduct and metes out enforcement outcomes that deter contraventions and unsafe outcomes.  There is a need to not only take errant parties to task, but to also shape the behaviour of industry stakeholders to effectively deter misconduct. In this context, BCA will publish enforcement actions taken by BCA to send a strong deterrent message to the industry.

2.             Enforcement actions will be published on this webpage with effect from 2 October 2023. The publication will set out key facts of the enforcement actions taken against parties who have contravened provisions in the Building Control Act, the Building Maintenance and Strata Management Act and Amusement Ride Safety Act, as well as their Regulations.

3.             The publication will be updated on a quarterly basis and published information will remain on the website for a period of 3 years.

4.            For further information, please refer to BCA's circular at https://go.gov.sg/bca-circular-website-enforcement-actions.

Note: The webpage is updated as at 7 July 2023 and may be updated by BCA from time to time without prior notice.
