18 May 2020

CleanTech Two: Multi-story buildings with "SIMTech" and "jtc" logos, vertical greenery, and parked cars.

With a total gross floor area of 22,300 sqm, JTC’s five-storey CleanTech Two Block B (CT2B) building is exemplary of a successful Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) implementation.

With a total gross floor area of 22,300 sqm, JTC’s five-storey CleanTech Two Block B (CT2B) building includes state-of-the-art green features such as day lighting and a fully naturally ventilated carpark. The project achieved significant time and cost savings through employing digital technologies and digitising formerly manual and time-consuming processes.

CT2B achieved significant time and cost savings through employing digital technologies. For instance, Trimble Connect was used to achieve remote centralised monitoring of off-site fabricated components as well as on site installation status.

At each stage of the construction project, IDD was used to streamline processes and improve collaboration and coordination between the different project teams and stakeholders.

Drones were used to provide an overview of CT2B’s construction progress and monitor the project site conditions.
