Geo Connect Asia 2026

Geo Connect Asia 2026 trade show and conference focus on geospatial, positioning, remote sensing and drone solutions in the Asia region. The event has expanded to include co-located events: Digital Construction Asia and Ocean Connect Asia. Focusing on the integration of geospatial technology with artificial intelligence, autonomous systems and uncrewed vehicles, the conference addresses the use of geospatial data in decision-making across government, enterprise and non-profit sectors through exhibition displays and technical presentations.

SGBC Learning Journey to the GEAR: Showcasing Sustainable Innovation in Practice

SGBC Learning Journey to Infinity Cube: Experiencing the Future of Sustainable Energy

Discover how Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) are revolutionising portable power as sustainable alternatives to conventional diesel generators. This hands-on learning journey by SGBC Member – Infinity Cube, provides practical insights into BESS technology, exploring various battery sizes and their applications across different operational needs whilst examining their potential to reduce environmental impact in building projects.

Experience a live demonstration comparing diesel generators and BESS performance under similar load conditions, offering real-time assessment of sound levels and efficiency. Participants will gain deeper technical understanding through an interactive session where Infinity Cube components are disassembled, displayed, and explained in detail.

Urban Solutions and Sustainability Research & Innovation (USS R&I) Congress 2026

Date: 5 – 6 Feb 2026, Thursday and Friday
Time: 9.30 – 6.00pm

The USS R&I Congress, co-organised by Ministry of National Development (MND) and Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment (MSE) with support from partner agencies, serves as a national platform for discussing Singapore's urban sustainability challenges and potential R&I responses. This two-day event brings together key stakeholders in the urban sustainability ecosystem, including industry players, IHLs/solution providers, and government agencies, to collaborate on R&I efforts in priority areas identified by the Government. The congress features technical presentations from over 40 eminent speakers across various disciplines, sharing of research plans and focus areas under Research, Innovation, and Enterprise 2030 (RIE2030) by government agencies, and an innovation showcase.

National GRIP Deep Tech Networking Mixer (by invite only)

The National GRIP (Graduate Research Innovation Programme), in partnership with Asia Startup Network, has organised a deep tech networking mixer event that brings together a curated group of experienced commercial and tech-commercial professionals to meet deep tech teams emerging from academic and research institutions through networking and dinner events. This platform can connect industry experts with deep tech innovators, providing science entrepreneurs with access to deep tech commercialisation expertise.

Call for Solutions - BCA Challenge Statement

Application Closing Date: 13 Feb 2026

To elevate construction quality standards, BCA is looking to leverage automated scanning technology to enhance CONQUAS inspections. The goal is to reliably detect construction flaws, such as water seepage and tile hollowness, with measurable accuracy. The solution must: a) deliver graduated quality scoring beyond traditional pass/fail assessments, b) ideally complete a full dwelling unit scan within 30 minutes, c) produce auditable, traceable results that inspectors can easily interpret. Applications are open until 13 February 2026. Saint Gobin Sustainability Open Innovation Challenge (SOIC)

The Sustainability Open Innovation Challenge (SOIC) is in its seventh year; it aims to connect global startups and innovators with leading corporates to develop scalable sustainability solutions. This year's challenge focuses on five key themes, including Renewable Energy and Sustainable Materials. SOIC 7th Edition provides substantial pilot funding and support, offering solution providers access to industry networks, mentorship, and real-world validation opportunities. SGBC Learning Journey to Armacell: Enhancing Energy Efficiency of HVAC System through Insulation

Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) systems account for a substantial share of building energy consumption in Singapore's hot and humid climate, making their efficiency enhancement crucial for reducing operating costs and carbon emissions whilst meeting stringent sustainability standards. This learning journey, in collaboration with SGBC Member Armacell, explores the critical role of thermal insulation in HVAC systems and how proper insulation design can significantly improve energy efficiency, indoor comfort, and building sustainability. Through an on-site tour and knowledge-sharing session, participants will gain insights into insulation materials, installation techniques, performance metrics, and compliance with green building standards to achieve measurable energy savings and long-term value.
