Urban Solutions and Sustainability Research & Innovation (USS R&I) Congress 2026

Call for Solutions - BCA Challenge Statement

To elevate construction quality standards, BCA is looking to leverage automated scanning technology to enhance CONQUAS inspections. The goal is to reliably detect construction flaws, such as water seepage and tile hollowness, with measurable accuracy. The solution must: a) deliver graduated quality scoring beyond traditional pass/fail assessments, b) ideally complete a full dwelling unit scan within 30 minutes, c) produce auditable, traceable results that inspectors can easily interpret. Applications are open until 13 February 2026.
