Super Low Energy Building (SLE) - Advancing Net Zero

The Zero Energy Building (ZEB), Southeast Asia’s first net zero energy building, SLE Smart Hub, a one-stop knowledge centre and the Super Low Energy Buildings Technology Roadmap enable you and other industry practitioners to implement SLE and ZEB.

ZEB

Since 26 October 2009, ZEB at BCA Academy has achieved almost 10 consecutive years of zero energy consumption and demonstrated more than 30 innovative technologies to achieve maximum energy savings.

ZEB serves as:

  • A test bed for integration of green building technologies in existing buildings
  • A hub for professionals and students in the study of energy efficiency and green buildings

Visit the ZEB webpage for more information on its features and to schedule a guided tour.

SLE Smart Hub

The SLE Smart Hub is a resource centre with a centralised national database of energy-efficiency technologies with powerful tools for data analytics. This makes it easy and convenient for building owners and developers to achieve SLE projects.

Now in its pilot phase, the SLE Smart Hub will be ready by September 2019.

This comprehensive roadmap was developed by BCA in partnership with industry practitioners and academia. It identifies and priorities over 60 key technologies and strategies, charting the pathways of ZEB and SLE technology development for Singapore.
