A MCST for a strata development is constituted when the strata title plan for the development is lodged with the Chief Surveyor and a strata title application made to the Registrar of Titles, Singapore Land Authority (SLA).
Purpose of Building Maintenance and Strata Management Act (BMSMA)
The BMSMA is designed to help strata development in the Management Corporation (MC) scheme to run effectively. The Act provides a legal framework for MCSTs to self-govern and manage the affairs of their estate.
