Re-categorisation of BCA CRS CR10 into CR10A and CR10B

BCA will re-categorise the current CR10 (Precast Concrete Works) into CR10A (Automated Precast Concrete Production) and CR10B (Precast Concrete Production) with effect from 1 Jan 2021.

With increasing demand for precast concrete products from accredited automated production facilities, a new workhead CR10A will be created for firms with automated precast production facilities while the current CR10 will be renamed as CR10B. For direct procurement of precast concrete products or through first-level sub-contracting, government agencies may specify the following from 1 Jan 2021, depending on the type of products required:

For supply of any type of precast concrete components, specify that both CR10A and CR10B are eligible (i.e. firms registered in either CR10A or CR10B would be eligible).
For supply of precast concrete components produced from accredited automated plants, specify that CR10A are eligible

For installation of precast concrete components, government agencies may specify TR05 (Precast Installation). These could either be provided by the main-con or at sub-contractor level.
