BCA supports Singapore firms in their internationalisation efforts through building stronger networks and cultivating deeper ties with key stakeholders in overseas markets and sharing of market knowledge on overseas opportunities. BCA facilitates formation of cluster-level consortia for projects of interest, such as G-to-G programmes like Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City in China. BCA also works closely with other public agencies as well as Trade Associations and Chambers (TACs), to help our firms venture overseas successfully and create a stronger foothold in regional markets.
Preparing Firms for Internationalisation
Over the years, BCA has championed Singapore firms’ foray into overseas markets. BCA prepares our export-ready firms by forming strategic partnerships and consortia with complementary capabilities, build strong overseas connections and cultivate deeper ties with key stakeholders in the target markets, especially in India, China and Southeast Asia.
Industry Mission to Indonesia.
BCA organises overseas mission trips and events for our firms. These trips help our firms gain insights into overseas markets - from understanding business climate to identifying project opportunities, while expanding their business networks and marketing their services and products. When BCA hosts overseas delegations, Singapore firms are invited to profile their capabilities and networks.

BCA provides reliable market intelligence to help firms keep abreast of overseas construction climate and potential overseas project leads. BCA organises local business seminars and distributes industry internationalisation e-Newsletters. These initiatives equip firms with knowledge on overseas business and cultural environments, project opportunities, government assistance schemes and updates on BE news and trends. BCA undertakes direct project facilitation to help our firms secure overseas projects through project matching, identifying suitable partners, formation of consortia, and post-project assistance.
BCA’s Myanmar Business Seminar.
BCA enters into Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) with Singapore firms and like-minded overseas government agencies to build and strengthen strategic ties. These MOUs help kick-start collaborations in construction productivity, green building developments, green mark certifications, sustainable design and eco-cities developments, construction skills training, and quality mark audit and certification. BCA has forged many international partnerships with overseas governments and agencies. Two of such G-to-G partnerships are in Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-city (China), and Amaravati New Capital Development (India).
