Framework for Risk-based Inspection

A proper assessment of the risk of building works will minimise potential safety gaps during construction.

What is risk-based inspection

A risk-based inspection regime considers the varying risks of different types of building works and focuses on what and when to inspect for maximum effectiveness.

Requirements

You or your project’s Qualified Person (QP) in charge should refer to Annex 1 – Framework for Risk-based Inspection to:

  • Find out risk classifications of building works
  • Establish the risk level of your building project
  • Provide necessary supervision corresponding to the risk level
