Process
Before submission of plans
Qualified Persons should refer to the Guidelines for Plan Submission, Construction and Commissioning of Household or Storey Shelters.
Plans submission
Plans must be submitted on BCA’s CORENET e-Submission System, using the relevant application form on the platform.
If you are unable to comply with certain technical requirements, submit a waiver application on CORENET using the relevant application form.
After submission
You will hear from BCA within 10 working days for shelter plan approval, or 7 working days for shelter commissioning.
List of technical requirements
The Construction Workforce Registration System (CWRS) is an online portal for CoreTrade and Multi-skilling registration and the renewal of Direct R1 eligibility.
OTMS allows you to register the workers for Identity Verification and to check your registration status online.
Lift and escalator owners, contractors and Specialist Professional Engineers (SPEs) can apply for and view applications for Permit to Operate (PTO) here.
