Guidelines for electronic transfer of site investigation data
Previously, there was no standardised electronic format for the submission or preparation of data from site investigation works in Singapore. BCA’s Singapore Geological Office (SGO) therefore came up with an electronic format protocol – AGS(SG) based on the needs and practices of Singapore, but which was still compatible with the standard geotechnical and geophysical electronic data formats used internationally.
With this standardisation, various database systems will be able to share geo-information, thereby allowing for more efficient and effective use of site investigation data.
