SkillsFuture Credit

Take ownership of your skills development and lifelong learning with SkillsFuture Credit, which you can use to pay for or offset fees for a wide range of approved skills-related courses.

  • All Singaporeans aged 25 and above will receive SkillsFuture credit.
  •  You will receive an opening credit of S$500 and the government will provide periodic top-ups. 
  • SkillsFuture credit do not expire and can be accumulated.

A wide range of SkillsFuture-approved courses are available for Built Environment professionals. These include courses on new technologies, such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Building Information Modeling (BIM), and career advancing skills, such as construction project management.

SkillsFuture Study Award for Built Environment

Develop and deepen specialist skills in areas of demand in the Built Environment sector. You can gain better career and advancement opportunities by developing mastery of skills and new technologies such as Building Information Modelling and Design for Manufacturing and Assembly. Recipients of the SkillsFuture Study Award for the Built Environment will receive $5,000 to defray out-of-pocket course expenses.

The SkillsFuture Study Awards will be discontinued on 31 March 2022, as part of SkillsFuture Singapore’s broader efforts to review existing schemes and prioritise resources for programmes that deliver stronger manpower development outcomes.

Eligible Singaporeans who wish to apply for the award should submit your applications by 11 February 2022. Applications submitted after 11 February will not be accepted.
